Who should use the travel registry?
- Students: Mandatory for all undergraduate and graduate students on Cornell-related business. Students traveling to elevated-risk countries must also request approval from the International Travel Advisory Response Team (ITART).
- Staff: Mandatory for all staff on Cornell-related business.
- Faculty: Mandatory for all faculty on Cornell-related business.

Traveling abroad on Cornell-related business requires additional planning, preparation, and registration.
Your first step is to register with the . Registration provides emergency services coverage by International SOS. Benefits include:
- Medical assistance services, including facilitation of hospital payment and insurance information, 24-hour health information, and monitoring of treatment.
- Medical evacuation and repatriation services, including emergency medical evacuation, dispatch of doctors/specialists, transportations after stabilization, and transportation to join a hospitalized participant.
- Destination intelligence and support, including global security intelligence, evacuation support notification, and medical intelligence.
- Security and political evacuation services, including transportation to departure point, and security/political evacuations.
- Travel assistance services, including replacement of travel documents, emergency travel arrangements, language services, and an emergency transfer of funds.

- Check the ITART of countries with elevated-risks. Students traveling to elevated-risk destinations require additional preparation and approval by the International Travel Advisory and Response Team (ITART). If you are a student traveling to an elevated-risk destination, apply for approval. Use the embedded within the registry form. Requests should be submitted three to four weeks before departure.
